FAQ’s

This stream is best experienced on an iPhone 7 or later, iPad (5th generation or later), or a desktop computer using Google Chrome on iOS 12 or later; or a Mac using Chrome on macOS Mojave 10.14 or later.

Other platforms may also be able to access the stream using recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge (MSE, H.264, and AAC required). Streaming to your TV requires an AirPlay 2–capable TV, or via AirPlay to an Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest Apple TV software or tvOS.

Other streaming devices may not be compatiable. If you require aditional support please review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) below or contact support.

What is a Live Stream and how does it work?

A live stream is a video broadcast, similar to a Live TV show where the video is displayed via a web browser. 

To access the event you will be instructed to attend a specific URL (web address) where the video player is located. The video player will work on most devices but it may not work on older devices and devices which are running out of date software.

We recommend you view the event using the Google Chrome browser. Please make sure you are running the latest version before starting the Live Stream.

Is there anything else I need to do before the show starts?

We’d recommend downloading the latest version of Google Chrome to your device of choice.

What internet connection do I need?

You need a minimum of 1.5Mb download Internet speed for our best quality, check at http://www.speedtest.net

We are streaming a lower bitrate feed that works over most 3G and 4G services.

Please consult with your local access carrier for rules and regulations.

Please be aware that we are not responsible for data connection charges to view the stream on any platform or service.

Can I watch the show on a different device?

You sure can. To watch it on any other device, such as a laptop, Smart TV or games console, simply visit the same URL your event is located on to continue watching from the same device.

Is Studio45 compatible with casting devices?

Sure is. There are two options available here to cast the show to an alternative device. 

If you experience difficulties with either of these options, please enter the event URL into your smart TV’s browser to access the video. Hit play and you’re good to go.

The video or stream quality is bad, what can I do?

Control your internet connection; try reloading the page a few times or see if you can access the event from another browser and/or device.

If the issue continues please reach out to our friendly support team by clicking the Support Live Chat widget at the bottom of your webpage.

If no mention of any issue, it must be related to your internet connection. Please check it, and be patient 🙂

Can I be seen or heard?

No you cannot be seen or heard – this is a live stream broadcast, similar to watching TV at home. You can sit back and enjoy the event from the comforts of your home or work knowing that the stream is being delivered to you in one direction, our studio to your device. 

The live stream does not use the same technology as a conferencing system such as Zoom or MS Teams. It works in the same way as a Television Broadcast.

Can I share my access code with another person?

This depends on the event and the terms applied by the promotor. The ticketing page will always list any restrictions ot the event before you make a purchase.

Typically if the event is a paid ticketed event then no, you cannot share your access code / login information.

What happens if I share my code?

We actively monitor connected devices and their IP address for ticket holders on behalf of our clients, the promotors. If we suspect unauthorised ticket sharing is taking place we will block the ticket and its access to the event. Just like a concert or an event at a venue you wouldnt be able to share a single ticket.

If you require multiple tickets to watch an event with friends and family then please purchase aditional tickets. If you are watching from the same household then you do not need aditional tickets, it is only required when multiple people are watching from different geographical locations.

Can I rewatch the event?

Please check your ticket / registration information for details of availability post event. It will detail if the video is available for Video On Demand playback.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are at the discretion of the promotor and they are different for each event.
